To improve its average revenue per user (ARPU), Airtel increased tariffs by 20-25 per cent on most of its prepaid plans, which will go into effect later this week from November 26. Airtel’s base prepaid plan will start from Rs 99, and its most expensive annual prepaid plans will see a tariff hike of Rs 500.
